The IBP Core Training was born out of our friendship, which has always been rooted in deep trust, willingness to challenge each other, radical support, a shared hunger for learning, and dark chocolate. It's a rich relationship, and we are inviting you in!
We are seasoned doulas, board-certified patient advocates, mothers, and best friends. We’ve seen each other through birth and death, and are grateful to be at each other’s side through life. We feel wonder every day that we get to do this work together, hold your stories together, mourn with you and laugh with you, and share with you the bounty that birth has taught us.
We’ve mentored hundreds of doulas through Intentional Birth, and since 2013 we’ve supported families in every setting while honing effective systems for birth work, patient advocacy, and business success. We are deeply invested in reducing trauma around birth and in honoring the rites of passage that lead to whole, powerful mothers, fathers, and birth professionals.
